In-School Counseling Services
As a community service, JFS staff provide in-school counseling and classroom observation services for students at: Hebrew Academy of Tidewater, Strelitz Early Childhood Center, and UJCVP Early Childhood Center. This is designed to assist students with social and learning issues, peer concerns, and family concerns.
Additionally, JFS staff can provide educational advocacy for school-aged children and teens.
In addition to daytime hours, we offer late afternoon and evening appointments for your convenience. Counseling is provided on a fee-for-service basis. JFS participates in many insurance programs and offer a subsidized sliding-fee scale for those requiring financial assistance. For more info, call us or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
